A great cup of coffee is like a little artwork in a cup to me. As you might already know, I’m quite the coffee addict. And although I love the coffee I have at home probably the most, sometimes when I’m out, I feel a bit adventurous and try out some cool coffee places. I found myself at the ‘Elandsgracht’ and bumped into ‘Koffiespot’. And let me tell you, my curiosity was rewarded big time!
Back in 2015, the ‘Koffiespot’ got a makeover. Nowadays, there’s truly a great atmosphere: homey, cosy but also very trendy. There’s a large wooden table in the centre of the room, where people can create a little temporary office or read a book while enjoying a cup. Just what I like.
‘Koffiespot’ serves great coffee of a Dutch direct trade brand called ‘Bocca’. But don’t be fooled by their name. ‘Koffiespot’ also serves great food and offers fresh juices. With boxes full of fruits and greens on display, they press the juice freshly in front of you. It really doesn’t get any fresher than this.
Breakfast, lunch and all treats are homemade at ‘Koffiespot’. They do not contain any E-numbers and they are sugar-, lactose-, and gluten free. In other words, it’s treating yourself without the “guilt” afterwards. So healthy ‘sins’ if you’d like to say so. And there’s no way you can get bored of their menu, as they change their lunch sandwiches every single week. And last but definitely not least, the staff at ‘Koffiespot’ is genuinely very helpful and kind, which makes this place even better. If possible.
So, if you’re looking to grab a quick healthy bite, catch up with a friend or an office for the day, ‘Koffiespot’ is the spot you’re looking for.
Ps. They also do takeaway if you’re in a rush. Whatever floats your boat!
